Your breaking CNN stories, now, can be watched, in even higher detail with the newly-enhanced CNN App 1.6 for iPad. This new release appends support for the two million pixels residing on the new iPad’s screen.
As maintained by the release remarks for the CNN App for iPad 1.6, the network (as well as whoever they contracted to code the app) has “enhanced imagery to support the iPad’s high res retina display.”
It isn’t instantly clear whether the modification happened on the CNN backend (where content is being served), or on the iPad app itself. But it has been updated to support the new spec that much we can say for sure.
