iOS 6 Features: Facebook Integration !!
The following major version of the world’s best mobile OS, iOS 6, will be launched this fall. Amongst the hundreds of new features it will deliver, Facebook integration will play a major role in how the OS will help bolster sales of iPhone and iPad generations to come.
Gratitudes to direct performance of Facebook ties, iOS 6 makes it simpler than ever to interact with the world’s leading social network. Heck, THE social network. Clients will no longer have to quit their existing application to share a photo from Camera, for example, or to post their location (right from the new Maps with 3D views). If you get a high score at your favorite game, you can brag right from inside Game Center.
“Your Facebook friends’ information is kept up to date across all your iOS devices, automatically updating details in Contacts when they change, and scheduling events and birthdays in your Calendar,” as stated by Apple. “You need to sign in to Facebook only once, and you’ll be off and sharing,” Apple explains. “Never miss another birthday or get-together, since Facebook events are integrated into Calendar.”
Mac maker says: “And your Facebook friends’ profile information is integrated into Contacts, so when they update an email address or phone number you automatically stay up to date. Now that’s something to post about.”
Apple is also manufacturing it super easy to “Like” content directly from the App Store and iTunes. They say it’s to see what your friends recommend. Sure, it’s that, and it’s also the perfect way to curate the stores once and for all, allowing only the most original apps to climb up the charts.
Developers registered with Apple can already download the iOS 6 beta software and SDK for testing purposes . Apple said: The finalized software is to be released this fall. iPad (the original one) is not supported, and the iPhone 3GS is missing most of the new features, though it will support the upgrade.
